Vision Statement

To create a universally accessible park and plaza where people of all ages and abilities can gather, learn, play, and thrive—strengthening community connection while honoring nature, inclusion, and shared discovery.

  • ADA-Compliant Trail Connections & Pathways–Universally designed entry points, trails, and pathways will ensure safe, dignified access for people of all abilities. Accessible surfaces, seating areas, and wayfinding will support inclusive recreation and shared gathering spaces.
  • Discovery Playground–An accessible play area that supports creativity, confidence, and problem-solving for users of all ages and abilities.
  • ADA-compliant Stage–A place for music and educational programs.
  • Native Plant Gardens with Interpretive Signage–Native plant gardens with labeled species and interpretive signage will encourage environmental stewardship and hands-on learning while supporting pollinators and sustainable land practices.
  • Educational Displays Highlighting Local History–Integrated educational displays will showcase the history of the Luce Line corridor and surrounding community, strengthening visitors’ connection to local culture and heritage.
